Description: Myers journal notes that this image was taken at Liberty, Missouri in September, 1865. He started the War as a Captain under N.B. Forrest. Later he said he joined Quantrill and was at Independence August 11, 1862 and Lawrence on August 21, 1863. He wrote a book in 1914 titled "Under the Black Flag" wherein he mainly blew his own horn. He died in April of 1920 at his home in Memphis, Tennessee. There is no information to date as to who Bridget Stipe was.
