Description: No date. JD Hylton was with Quantrill. He first enlisted under Price in 1861. He later joined Quantrill and was wounded at Independence. He had to hide out for 6 months to recover. He then rejoined Quantrill and was in the fight at Hopkins. He went to Kentucky with Quantrill in 1865 and was with Quantrill when Quantrill was shot. Ref: Jackson, 1881, Branded as Rebels.
