Description: Cantey collection original stereo view of the grave of Abolitionist John Brown. Some want to say that this man was controversial in history. Anyone who thinks he did anything good needs to have their head examined. He was a totally EVIL, insane, blood thirsty, mass murderer who believed that the only way to end slavery in America was by violent means. He and his immediate followers MURDERED 5 pro slavery, innocent, men that they met on the road. Even at the request against it by his own son, he hacked the men to death with knives and axes. It was an appalling crime for any time period. In 1859, Brown led an unsuccessful raid on the Federal armory at Harper's Ferry(seven men were killed and 10 injured) to obtain guns for the blacks he hoped would start a race war. FEDERAL troops led by Robert E. Lee apprehended him in a multi racial group. He was tried for TREASON and murder and hanged. No one deserved the big drop more than he did.
