Long, Perdee, Harris, J.W. Steele, and Stephens

Description: Standing Left to Right: Peyton Long, Joe Perdee and Boil Harris. Seated Left to Right: J.W. Steele and Bill Stephens. Image is journal dated as July 22, 1862. Long was with Silas Gordon under Quantrill. Killed in Kentucky with Quantrill. Perdee was with Quantrill. Boil was a Confederate guerrilla. He was killed in November 1862 in Arkansas. John W. Steele was in Gordon's Regiment and not known as a guerrilla. Bill Stephens was a guerrilla leader himself and also fought with Anderson and Col. Caleb Perkins. Ref: BRANDED AS REBELS by Hale/Eakins.
