Description: Original drawing by the artist Thomas Moran of General Robert E. Lee. It is both signed by him and bears his LOGO. Moran was born in 1837 and died in 1926. He was a very talented illustrator and landscape painter. He was a member of the Hudson River School and Rocky Mountain School of artists. He was also an illustrator for the Scribner's Magazine in the late 1860s. This image has a fine provenance.
