Description: Anna "Nannie" Walker, wife of Joe Vaughn. There are many stories about her in Connelley's book but Connelley was so anti-Quantrill that he can never be trusted. Evidently, she did help the guerrillas in many ways as getting them supplies, food, and information. It seems she was one heck of a Reb! The Myers journal states: "Q's girl" and "given to Gus by Quantrill and identified by Quantrill." She was an early girl friend of Quantrill's BEFORE he married Kate King.
