Description: Pete Spence was one of the "Cowboy" faction in Tombstone in the 1880s. He was suspected to have been involved in the murder Of Morgan Earp. This is a Cantey Collection image of him in that period and exceedingly rare. He later went to prison. He died in 1914 and is buried in Globe, Arizona. His real name may have been Elliot Larkin Ferguson.
