Description: Myers images dates this image as taken on August 19, 1863, just before Lawrence raid. Massey is on the left, Tuck is on the right. This is a very strange image. Massey appears to be holding a perfume bottle and Tuck hold what appears to be a torn and tattered shaw? Possible these items represent the young women killed in the jail collapse that caused the guerrillas to attack Lawrence.
