Description: Myers journal notes this image taken on June 1, 1864. Captain James "Jim" Bissett (L) and Peyton Long (R). Bissett is in a confederate uniform. Bissett was with Anderson. He was with Fletch Taylor, Archie Clement, and Peyton Long on June 5, 1864 when they killed a Union man named Bradley Y. Bond in Clay County. Bissett was killed on September 28, 1864. Ref: Edwards, Clay, Brownlee, Liberty Tribune June 21, 1901, Branded as Rebels. Peyton long is covered in the collection elsewhere.
