The Bishop Brothers
Last Random Picture | Next Random Picture
Description: Myers Collection image of Cpl. John N. Bishop (L) and Sgt. Jack C. Bishop (R), quantrill guerrillas, taken on 8-19-1863. Myers has a JWJ next to Jack Bishop's name indicating he was a James gang member after the War. Authors J. N. Edwards and Connelley verify that he was indeed a gang member as does Quantrill guerrilla Harrison Trow. Jack evidently ended up leaving Missouri and the James gang and going to Colorado where he disappeared.
