Description: Image of Elias A. Baldwin, father of Prudence Balwin Myers, and father-in-law of Gus Myers. He was know as the "Traveling Artist" in the Myers journal and "Pa". It was Baldwin who took most of the earliest images of Quantrill and the Missouri guerrillas(See Myers biography on this site). It is also a "trick" image. In the background is a "ghost image" showing a full length guerrilla. It is assumed this image was done as a tribute to all fallen guerrillas he knew and photographed.
