Description: John Franklin Edmundson dated March 17, 1865. He is listed in the Myers journal as "friend of JWJ" (Jesse W. James). There is no indication that Edmundson was a Missouri guerrilla although he could have been. However, he was a suspected Jesse James gang member. He was arrested in St. Joseph, Missouri after the Liberty Bank robbery on 2/13/1866, and was suspected in the Savannah, Mo. robbery on 3/02/1867. Ref: BRANDED AS REBELS by Hale.
