It is reported as the last photograph taken of Doc in Glenwood Springs, Colorado before his illness became military and he died in 1887. However, this is not probable as Holliday was a very sick man by the time he reached Glenwood Springs, his disease was military, and contemporary sources in newspapers state he was virtually an invalid. This may be a photo of Holliday but I would believe, if so, a much earlier image indeed. Publication of this image has been done by sudo historians who stated under the image that it was the last image of Doc Holliday without proper research, in my opinion. When an actual image of Holliday in this period surfaces, I believe it will be clear that this one is not of the later period. Emory Cantey
