Description: The FINEST image of Charlie Pitts to be discovered so far. It was taken in Clarksville, Tennessee in 1874 by E.A. Balwin in front of Baldwin's traveling wagon photograph saloon (only known image of the actual wagon). His AKA was Sam Wells. He was wounded in Northfield in 1876 and killed in Madelia, MN shortly thereafter.
