Description: Myers journal notes this image was taken in July, 1863. Hamp Watts was with Anderson. He was 15 when he joined the guerrillas. After the War he wrote a book titled "The Babe of the Company" wherein he stated he was the real "Anderson's baby". This was totally untrue. The Myers collection has finally established that Anderson's baby was a young man named Barbee. Ref: Edwards, Watts, Castle, Branded as Rebels.
