Documentation is a period note that came with the image sending it to a lady friend by the name of Ms. Quincy in Rosita, Colorado via a mutual friend. The mutual friend name was George Lews. Rosita, Colorado was a silver mining town established in 1872 with its hay day in the 1880s. The note also states "John Henry in better days".
