Description: Myers Collection image of young DeKalb Shore, age 16. The image was taken in 1862. DeKalb was with Quantrill. In 1865, he was with Shelby's company J when it surrendered in Shreveport in 1865. This is an excellent reference that many guerrillas were very young boys.
