Description: Cantey Collection images of (L) John Younger just prior to his death and (R) James gang member Cal Carter. This is the only known image of Cal Carter. He was once arrested as Jesse James but was later released. He was not known as a guerrilla and little is known about him except being mentioned in a couple of books about Jesse. The Carter image is dated 1875.
