Description: Myers collection image of Gabe Kendrick taken May 5, 1863. He later became a Captain. He had his own guerrilla band under Colonel Porter. He surrendered with 27 men in 1862, was exchanged, and reorganized his band in the Arkansas and Louisiana CSA. Ref: Branded As Rebels, O.R., Knox, 1887 and Bartels.
