Description: Silk mourning head scarf belonging to Zerelda "Zee" James, wife of Jesse James. Scarf is in a box which the James family marked as "belonging to Mrs. Jesse James". It is from the Wilbur Zink collection sold by Heritage Auctions in 2013. It is remarkably intact based on its age (she died in 1900), well preserved, and delicately made.
