Description: This image is the companion piece to the next image in this section. (L) William "Wild Bill" Reed (Reed's Raiders) and (R) James "Jim" Anderson, Bloody Bill's brother. The image is dated 1863. Reed had his own group of guerrillas and later joined Bill Anderson's under Quantrill. In effect, he was Bill Anderson's teacher in the guerrilla arts. The journal notes that this is the "only image of Reed that exists".
