Lucy Nicholson Lindsay
Last Random Picture | Next Random Picture
Description: Myers collection image of pretty Lucy Lindsay. I wish I had many, many more of the women as they were as brave as the men. She was part of the guerrilla's underground communication system. She smuggled medicine, socks, and clothing to the guerrillas. She was captured by the Yankees and put in prison but was later banished from Missouri and sent down river to Mississippi in 1861. She made it all the way to General Price's army. She was a courageous, GREAT Southern patriot.
