Dr. Alfred Sloan and Nurse Abigail Keating.

Description: Myers journal notes this image taken at Liberty, Missouri in June, 1864. It was taken in from of the field hospital tent. Sloan joined Price at Osceola in 1862 as a surgeon and served with the 16th Missouri Infantry in Missouri and Arkansas. Later became Quartermaster of that section. He surrendered at Shreveport, Louisiana in 1865 and settled in Kansas City, Missouri. Nurse Keating is unknown. Ref: K.C. Memorial, 1896.
